The Cornmill, Nottingham

I eat here all the time as the food is good and they always make a fuss of my 17 month old son bringing him colouring things or balloons, the staff are usually so friendly. It is very large and they have lots of tables and little areas so if you’re there with the extended family you’re likely to end up in a semi-private area. The toilets and baby change areas are good, they’re always kept clean and tidy. They have an outdoor play park which is quite large compared with the usual pub parks. There’s lots of outdoor seating around the whole building and the smoking shelter is located on the opposite side of the building to the park, yay!! Inside is split into 2 areas, the first bit is the sports bar/drinking area which is quite small in comparison to the eating area, you can tell what they focus on! The food is usually very nice, I’ve only ever had one bad meal here which isn’t even on the menu anymore. There’s lots of choice and it’s affordable and the childrens menu has lots of healthier alternatives. The atmosphere here is nice and family friendly.
