Bella Italia Exchange Street overview
Only a short walk from the main city centre and Playhouse, Bella Italia is a perfect choice if you are looking for a reasonably priced Italian meal for the family. The chain provides a special ‘Bambino’ play pack for kids as part of their children’s meal.

We found this a very noisy restaurant but as my children commented ‘you can make more noise and no one will notice’. It is a very compact restaurant and so if you have pushchairs or need a highchair it is a bit of a squeeze. The food is very good and Tesco vouchers are currently accepted so it can be very cheap to eat with several children. If we didn’t have Tesco vouchers I don’t think we would eat here with children though. The children’s menu is expensive and basic and service for us was very slow. There were several screaming children who had become very bored which did not create a nice atmosphere. The staff did try to please particularly with the children but they were basically too busy and too few in number.
