If you’re on the hunt for a family friendly place to eat with the kids in Penrith then we’ve got just the selection of destinations for you. Here at Childfriendly we’ve scoured the local area looking for those restaurants, cafes, delis and pubs which welcome kids, provide great family facilities and, not forgetting, a bounty of great tasting food! Of the ones we came across one of our favourites in Penrith was the award-winning, family-run Tebay Services. Admittedly a service station is not the most appealing destination for a family meal at first but this is no ordinary service station. Located in a beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle of the motorway this station offers excellent home-cooked and locally sourced meals and snacks as well as a variety of first-rate baby-changing and other family facilities.
