Childcare essentials Crystal Ski resorts offer childcare and Kids Clubs, as well as Family Plus Chalets equipped with all the extra items you will need for babies and small children. Childrens meals in restaurants are nutritious and freshly prepared, with the needs of your children in mind, and Family Stations in club hotels provide all the necessary equipment for preparing and heating meals for your children. Travel cots with sheets and a blanket, Baby Monitors and Bottle warmers can be provided for an extra charge and should be pre booked. High chairs are available in hotels, chalets and dining rooms. Baby holiday packs To reduce the amount of equipment you need to cart around when travelling with a baby or toddler, use this convenient online service to buy everything you will need from the comfort of your home, and have it waiting at your ski resort when you arrive. Childrens Clubs Childcare places are limited and very popular, so we recommend you reserve a place for your child when making your holiday booking. Pepi penguin crèches Children from 6 months to 4 years can be left in the safe hands of qualified nannies. Enjoyable indoor and outdoor games and activities, and a well-equipped play area will keep the little ones happy and entertained while you spend time on the slopes. Penguin Club hours vary according to resorts, but will fit in with parents’ ski lessons. Private babysitting arrangements can also be arranged with the childcare team and paid for locally. Private Nannies If you prefer to leave your child or children in the comfort of your own chalet, Private Nannies are available to families and groups, for children from 6 months to 5 years. Bringing a suitcase full of games, books and toys, nannies will arrange exciting activities indoors, and lots of fun outside, playing in the snow building snowmen and sledging. Whizz Kids Kids from 4 to 11 years will be well cared for by the experienced staff at the Whizz Kids Club. Children will be taken to and from ski school and looked after during lunch time and afternoons in a dedicated clubroom equipped with lots of toys, games and books to keep them entertained. Half day or full day club activities for non-skiing children include outside activities, snow play, treasure hunts, sledging and cable car rides. Evening childcare Evening clubs are run by the dedicated childcare team who ensure that children can wind down at the end of the day in a quiet environment. Clubs are open 6 evenings a week from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Snuggle Club provides a quiet evening for children from 6 month to 7 years with bedtime stories and a relaxing atmosphere to prepare them for bed. The Pyjama Club childcare staff will tailor activities to suit children from 4 to 11 years. Kids can have fun with musical and board games, quizzes, face painting, DVD evenings and much more.
