There’s a great choice of self-catering apartments and detached farmhouses, all just a couple of minutes walk from the pool and riding school. The family has owned the farm since the 17th century and will give you a friendly welcome with any advice you need to make this the perfect family holiday. ACCOMMODATION - The old farm director's house at Fattoria di Marena overlooks garden and pastures and is divided into two semi-detached houses with independent entrances, each sleeping four. Two extra beds can be added for children. For a large family group, the newly restored Villa Fognani has been divided into two apartments and will sleep up to 8 people. Berto farmhouse, Fornace farm cottage and Vivaio detached house will all sleep 4 people with the option of an extra bed for a child. Podere Archiano is a large refurbished farmhouse divided into 3 apartments with a private garden area. These three apartments can be rented separately, but if rented for a group will sleep 16 and can add 4 extra beds for children. Most apartments have no internal staircases, but safety gates and doors are provided when necessary. Linen supplies, heating and additional cleaning are available on request for an extra charge. It is an old typical Tuscan farm, where restored farmhouses are situated near the XVII century Villa and the garden or stand alone in the surrounding countryside. The all farm can guest a maximum of 10 families, in old houses restored and furnished in a simple but tasteful way and offering self-catering holidays: each accommodation has an independent entrance, a fitted out kitchen, garden-table and seats to enjoy the lanscape of Tuscany. Each house has his own history and athmosphere.
The farm offers:
a large swimming-pool (8X15X1.4m) with tiled solarium and a large panoramic meadow, deck chairs, dressing rooms;
a riding school with horses and ponies for children and horse therapy, with covered ground, Teacher speaking English;
a little mountain bike rental;
washing machine and maid service on request;
The surroundings (Casentino Valley, Arezzo and Florence) are perfect for a quiet family sightseeing program: middle ages hamlets, National park with breathtaking forests, nature, art and culture.
...and prices, anyway, are absolutely affordable!
