Club Med Family Beach Holidays – Childcare Club Med have been providing exclusive and inclusive family holidays for over 55 years. Since their first tented village on a Mediterranean beach, they now have resorts world wide, but still offer a very special family atmosphere, with most resorts offering specialized childcare, activities and programmes for kids of all ages. Club Med Baby Welcome The smaller the baby the more gear you need to cart around! Travelling with a baby is made easy when you choose a Club Med holiday. The Baby Welcome package ensures that all the equipment you need is available in your room. Items like a cot, baby bath, changing mat, bottle warmer and high chair can be requested. Restaurants have a special Baby Zone where savoury and sweet baby foods are available, as well as the equipment needed to warm and prepare baby food. High chairs and booster seats are available in the restaurants and some resorts also prepare baby meals. Babysitting is not included in this package but is available at some Club Med Villages and should be booked and paid for locally. (Nb. Nappies and baby milk are not supplied at Club Med) Baby Club Med Your little ones from 4 to 23 months can be left in the capable hands of the specialized G.O’s (just the name Gracious Organizer gives you confidence!) Meals and rest times are arranged to suit your baby, while gentle activities and educational games will keep them entertained. Baby Club Med is an optional extra, which must be booked and paid for when making your holiday booking as places are limited. Petit Club Med A well-balanced daily programme, and close supervision ensures that children from 2 to under 4 have an enjoyable time at the Petit Club Med. Children will enjoy stimulating creative activities, walks and indoor games, stories, songs and nursery rhymes and of course when necessary a nap or some quiet time A nutritious lunch is prepared which parents are welcome to attend, and a delicious afternoon tea. Happy Gym courses are also available at some Summer Villages. Petit Club Med is an optional extra, which must be reserved and paid for when making your holiday booking as places are limited. Mini Club Med Your lively youngsters between 4 and 10 years are offered a huge variety of sports and leisure activities to ensure they have a fun filled and unforgettable holiday. Water sports, trampolining, fun in the swimming pool, arts and crafts, music and dance. Kids are kept busy all day, having fun, making friends and learning new skills. Also included in your package is the Club Med Champions Academy, which offers three day courses, where kids from 6 to 10 can learn the basics of tennis, karate and sailing with exciting lessons and games. Pyjamas Club After dinner with their parents, Children can return to their friends at the Baby Club or Petit Club in the evenings, giving the grown ups a chance for a quiet meal. Pyjamas Club is not included in the package and should be booked on site and depends on availability. Available for children from 4 months to 6 years in Europe and Africa, and up to 8 years in North America and Asia. Juniors Club Med There’s an incredible range of fabulous activities for kids from 11 to 17, whether they want to learn a new sport, do some dance lessons or just chill out with friends in the Passworld teen zone. Divided into groups of 11-13 year olds and 14-17 year olds, kids can get involved in sporting challenges, prepare shows, join in almost any sport they can think of or just hang out and be teenagers in the specially created Passworld. Club Med Passworld Club Med has created exclusive themed zones just for teens giving them the opportunity to hang out with friends in an especially designed area with state of the art equipment and do whatever takes their fancy. Well supervised, but with no pressure, kids are divided into two age groups and can try their hand at making music videos, learning hip-hop, creative crafts or jewellery making, some more unusual sports like wall climbing, bungee jumping and flying trapeze as well as watersports and lots of opportunities for a game of beach soccer or beach volley. The fun doesn’t stop in the evenings, with adventure excursions, picnics, movie nights on the beach and disco nights. They can even try to learn the Club Med crazy moves! Supervision and Safety Your children are entrusted to the care of well-qualified GO’s who are trained in their particular field, whether it’s childcare or sports. Parents are required fill in an attendance register daily their children each day with times the child has been left, will be collected and how the parent or guardian can be contacted. A nurse is in attendance at Mini Club Med Villages, and a paediatrician at Baby Club Med Villages.
