You might be new but don't worry we love you just as much as our existing members. You can change your profile picture (so you won't look so grey), and we'll even give you extra points for this. For hints and tips on how to get started click here. The best thing about being a Rookie? You're only 10 reviews away from Explorer status and some great rewards...

Childfriendly Explorer
[Ik-splawr-er] - To become an Explorer you'll need 100 points and a minimum of 10 reviews. And to reward you for your efforts we'll send you a £10 Love2Shop voucher, which you can spend in most high street shops (enough to buy you a compass and Panama hat so you can really look the part). With a growing number of reviews under you belt, your views and opinions at this stage will be well respected within the community!

Childfriendly Guru
[Goo-roo] - To hit Guru status you'll need 400 points and a minimum of 50 reviews. By this stage you'll have super-human powers (ok we can't quite guarantee this one), and lots of followers who will be hanging off your every word. Not only will you have helped 1000s of other parents make an informed decision on where to take the kids - you'll also receive a spanking brand new Ipod Shuffle. Nice.

Points - 400 points (with a minimum of 50 reviews)
Rewards - An Ipod Shuffle or £50 in Love2Shop vouchers!


How do I gain points on Childfriendly?
- Review an existing place* - 5 points  (reviews must be 100 words or more to qualify)
- Add and review a new place* - 10 points 
- Upload a photo of a place - 3 points (you must own the rights for any images uploaded)
- Invite a friend to join the community - 5 points (awarded when they register)

How do I claim my rewards?
When you reach your new status with the minimum level of reviews required (10 reviews for Explorer status, and 50 reviews for Guru status), contact our Community Manager Emily and send her your Username, address, and contact telephone number (you'll need to add her as a friend first). We will then verify that you are eligible for your reward, then contact you to confirm when it will be sent.

- All reviews are subject to editorial approval as per our website terms and conditions
